Statement of Faith
We Believe:
1. In one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Mark 12:29).
2. In Jesus Christ, the only begotten Virgin-Born Son of God, His Sinless life, His vicarious atoning Death,
His bodily Resurrection and Ascension. (Isaiah 7:14; Romans 8:34; Acts 1:10).
3. In the Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God. (2 Timothy 3 :15-17).
4. In Man's inherent fallen nature and his necessity to be Born Again unto salvation by grace through the
Blood of Jesus Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. (John 1:4,9; 3:3; Romans 2:14,15; 3:25;
10:13-15; Ephesians 2:8-9).
5. In Baptism in Water by immersion for believers (Matthew 28:19) and in the Lord's Supper as
commemorative of the sacrificial Body and Blood of Christ. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
6. In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the speaking in other tongues. (Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 15:8-9;19:6).
7. In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit which enables a believer to live a holy life. (Hebrews 12:14; 1
Peter 1:15, 16).
8. In the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, including divine healing, through the redemptive work of Christ's
Sufferings, His Crucifixion, His Death and His Resurrection and His Ascension. (1 Corinthians 12:7-11;
Isaiah 53:4; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:13-14).
9. In the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and His subsequent Judgment of the world. (Hebrews 9:28;
Matthew 25:31).
